Writing a blog for oneself is like writing a dairy which no one will ever read, except you ofcourse. I made beetroot chapati today. This morning I taught my son something. Or so I think. A 5 year old makes you think more about the world, than all the adults put together.

My son is a drifter. Atleast at this time so to speak. He loves to just gaze at his toys, think of some smart question, play with his toys. So this morning I told him to just do the next thing that needs to be done. Okay, how does it work. You get up in the morning, then whats the next thing that needs to done? Brush your teeth, and the next thing? Change your clothes.

I made him tell me after every act, whats the next thing that needs to be done. After you get in the car, whats the next thing that needs to be done? Wear the seat belt and so on.

Made me think if I were to apply the same principle to my work, my workday would be so much more productive. But, stop then why am I writing this blogpost? Get back to work, you silly mommy!

Grateful to have thoughtful conversations with my 5 year old!

Movie review : Fight club

There is a lot to be understood from this movie. Opinions on this movie seems polarized. Some people totally like this movie while others completely disapprove of it. I would say this movie is on the darker side. Every single scene has a horrible effect to it. The protagonist is a sulking, and depressed guy who is fighting his way out of his caged life, and in the process gets into a multiple personality disorder. But, the director somehow thought that "all is well that ends well" and hence probably made an incredible ending making the viewers wonder if this is a instant hollywood masala movie.

Its the basic duality of goodness and badness in oneself that universally appeals to people . This movie profound.

Every dog has its day; Let me be that dog everyday :)

This is my first ever blog. I just feel like writing today. Infact yesterday morning. I was happy yesterday. Technlogy has the power to drive economy, change the way businesses work, revolutize the communication methods, make the world smaller, and on and on. However, for me it also has the power to make me look "MACHO" in the eyes of my mother and thats worth all the time I spend knowing more about it :). OK, enough of all the big words, this is what happened.

My mom's Dell laptop was infected by some malicious virus and she could not even login. She has been really troubled that her one line of communication is so totally out of her control. Now, I didnt know what to do, and as silly as I am ever, I didnt even have the XP CD at my disposal(first I need to get that). But then, DELL laptops has a recovery drive, and I had always wondered why it was there in the first place. And then the morning I arrived it strikes me that I try to recover my mom's system, and lo I pressed F8 and there was an option to restore the lappy to the image when it left DELL factory. WOW, cool I thought, let me see if I can restore the system to a working condition, though some of her personal data is gone for ever(not really, the smart mom she is, she has backed up most of her data anyways). Alls well that ends well, my mama's lappy got the same vista imaged and me glorified in her eyes.

Thank the technology for such a wonderful option and thank Him for giving me the brains to try it out!!!

Every dog has its day :) :)
